Racism a daily battle in our lives.

Have been in different locations and areas where if you talk Spanish you are considered Mexican or from South America. Or if the person is black they come from Africa. What crap is that? We are being categorized and hit with racist comments that can really kill a person.  Not only being racist with our skin color but also with our language. The way we conduct ourselves or even by the tattoos and piercings we have.

Sitting on my desk I can see my daughter’s pictures and all three of them are way whiter than I am and the middle one has blue eyes. I have had people in the past ask me if those girls are mine or am I babysitting for my friends. And when I tell them that those are my girls they are like “wow, but you don't have blue eyes (when they look at Alia)” and I respond “she got it from her grandmother who is way darker than I am and has blue eyes”. And just walk away because if I tell that person what is on my mind I would end up in jail.

This is the definition that “Wikipedia” gives us; racism consists of both prejudice and discrimination based in social perceptions of biological differences between peoples. It often takes the form of social actions, practices or beliefs, or political systems that consider different races to be ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities. It may also hold that members of different races should be treated differently.

How can we be living in a world where racism still exists? It surrounds us every day. If you are black, Hispanic, Asian, Indian you are minority. What garbage is that? Same liquid flows thru our veins, we are all made from semen. But most important we are all human beings. The color shouldn't matter.

If you have money that does not make you a god. Why judge someone by their political views, their status, their wealth or even the type of hair they have? And just to know that right now while you are reading this there are parents teaching their kids not to associate themselves with that person just because they are a different color or are not rich.

And it’s funny because that person you neglect or even hate because of their skin color can be the person to save your life or even have your same blood type. Can also be the person to teach and educate your child or even be that person who cooks your meals in a daily basis.

We need to stop this and try to get along with everyone else. This is wrong in so many ways that we will feel the pain. We will die with anger in our hearts. You need to be caring, understandable, patient and most of all you need to be a human being. Life is only one so don't let hate take over you.
