And finally my mother. The one who had me in her belly for almost nine months and brought me to this world. She gave me life. She was there to rush me to the hospital when I got sick. She acted as mother and father. Long nights in the hospital and making sure I was going to make it. And look at me now, 33 years old and still kicking it. Thank you all. For making me the man I am now.
And huge and warm hug to those mothers that have both roles. That don't need a man to help them take care of her kids. I give you props. You are strong and will overcome any obstacle that is presented to you. Working even two jobs so those kids can have what you didn't have. And even adopting other children just to give the a better life.
I don't disrespect a woman that has to sell her body for money. You know why? Because she can be that mother that is fighting to make sure that her boy or girl make it. Giving them a good life. Taking them threw college. Telling them that she is a waitress so they won't be ashamed or ridiculed at school. And will they appreciate her hard work. Dealing with men without integrity. Yes or no, who really knows. But she sure does her best. So when you see a woman like that don't treat her bad because guess what it could have been your mother.
Sometimes I sit with my wife to watch tv and I just can't believe what I see sometimes. These young beautiful girls between the ages of 14 to 17 ruining their lives and plastering it all around tv. Come on girls. Being a mother is not as easy as it seems. There are long nights and difficult times. Sex can wait. That five or six minute pleasure can put you in a position that you will regret the rest of your life. Enjoy life before you can really take that huge step of becoming a mother. Take the advice and be young.
And those kids that don't value what she does for you. You better sit back and count your blessings. She is not your slave nor your private butler. Clean your room. Pick up after your self. Get good grades in school or college. She did it for you when you were a baby. Now is your time to show her and give back to her. So the next time she tell you "NO". Remember there is a reason behind every crucial conversation she has with you. She might be saving your ungrateful ass from something that might put you behind bars or seven feet below.
So to all you mothers may God bless you always and bless your path. There is only one or maybe two you call mother but sure love them and appreciate what they do for you. Now is the time to say "Thank you moms and I love you". Don't wait until the last minute to say your are sorry. You will regret it. Remember son or daughter you are but parent you shall be.
