Puerto Rico - The Commonwealth of The United States of America

       Puerto Rico has been part of the USA since July 25th 1952 by Gov. Muñoz Marin. As puertorican we have an interesting history. We have been categorized as the most friendly place to visit and live (if you are a tourist). Our little island only measures 100 miles by 35 miles. We consider ourselves very outgoing and potentially loyal to our culture.

When we leave our island is to become a better person and expand out horizons. We never forget where we come from. Some have succeeded in the commercial business in Puerto Rico. Other like my self travel to the USA to be able to provide better for our families. And other decide living from the government which makes the hard working people flip a switch.

As a tourist (turista) comes and visits our island they fall in love with it all. And want to sell everything in the USA where they live to establish their last roots in beautiful Puerto Rico. Others even want to open business of what ever there minds takes them. They taste our delicious cooking. Combined with different spices and flavors. Which they try to re-do in their kitchen and it's not the same taste. But its amazing how the tourist enjoys the gratefulness and beauty of our Puerto Rico.

The "Latinas" beautiful puertorican woman, with such a sensual look and amazing skin color. The way they dance and move their hips in a sensual way. Greeting you with a smile and a warm Caribbean welcome "Bienvenido a Puerto Rico". And it brings a great feeling when you hear that. Now describing us the male "Latino", we are pretty firm with what we believe. Hard working men that will work under the sun all day. Go home relax with the family and complete the day with a nice "cerveza". And wake up the next morning and re-do it all over again. Protecting our family and loving them is the our best virtue. And if we consider you a friend we will protect you too.

The beaches are amazing and just full of joy. They will be packed with the sounds of kids running, whole groups of "playeros" having a hell of a great time. It't funny because you see people with pots of rice, beans, and frying chicken; and if you asked them "How much you selling the plate for?". And the lady in the back yells out "Mijo no te preocupes is free". That's the life in a puertorican beach. Just amazing. Just who we are.

Our way of being surprises everyone. Makes us be unique in a very special way. We are loud and love to party. We make you feel right at home. We will bring a smile to your face. Our beaches, natural forests, our "chinchoritos" (small places where you can have a beer, cold drink and food home made), old cities (Viejo San Juan), our history; you will fall in love with it all.

We might not agree with certain thing in the political aspect. Or how the system is ran. But we sure damm well love our island. You can't compare it to nothing else. All 100 X 35 miles of beauty. So don't take my word for it. Take a trip and enjoy it to the fullest. Alone or with family. You will have the time of your life. And "NO" you don't need a passport to visit our beautiful island. The only thing you need is a camera, family and total relaxation to enjoy one of the most beautiful Islands in the world.
