A day to remember those that have given their lives for our freedom. Those men and women that service in the United States Armed Forces. That are still serving our country with out no regret. Just because of the love and passion they feel for this amazing country and those who live in it. Let's stop and thank a veteran. Or just call that military friend and tell them "thank you". Now is the moment to realize that with out them this world would be in a worst situation that it is now. Give respect to those that deserve respect. Let's never forget what they have done for us.
We are connected to the military one way or another. My father served in the United States Army. Earned the Purple Heart of Honor. Had so many awards that I can't list. And last year I was able to see where he was buried after 27 years. I was honored to know of all the things he accomplished and all the lives he saved by him being were he was. Yes I did cry and over whelmed of where he was. But without the help of  a distinguished gentleman also Army veteran Gildelbrandt Martinez I would Have never found out. And thank you I'll always be grateful to you.
And so many other people that are not with us in this moment. They risked it all with out a blink of an eye. I was not in the military, I did not serve my country, I was not in the battlefield, I did not earn any medals, I don't know what is to loose a fellow military friend on the field. And believe me if I had the chance I would do it. Just to be able and contribute for the future of my kids and every single person out there.
But let us not take this day in vain. Let's take a moment of silence and remember those that gave it all. Those that are not with us anymore. and value those that are with us and still fighting for our freedom. From the bottom of my heart I would like to say thank you and may God bless you always. And to my dad that is up in heaven, thanks dad. Sometimes wish you were here so you can tell your stories to your granddaughter.
And thank you fellow reader. Because someone you know has served and you are extremely proud of them.
